BURNT WOOD - YAKISUGI

Burnt wood means quality, naturalness, modernity, aesthetics and durability. It is perfect for facades, terraces, fences and interiors.

Fire and wood, two seemingly incompatible elements, create a unique product of refined luxury – charcoal-coated wood. Using the ancient Japanese yakisugi firing technique, which has been cultivated for centuries, the charcoal-coated surface protects the wood from moisture, UV rays, mould and prevents the growth of parasites.

Environmentally friendly, chemical-free burnt wood will remain unchanged for a long time, so you won’t have to spend a fortune on refurbishing it, and the different shades will add a unique touch.

During production, an exclusive technology is used to burn the surface of the wood. Our technology differs from other manufacturers in that we heat the wood until it ignites itself. In this way, the softest parts of the wood surface are completely burnt.

The firing line is controlled by a computer that sets the temperature of each side of the product separately. This allows us to achieve the desired depth and uniformity of burning. The cooled wood is brushed to bring out the texture of the wood. The last (optional) step is to oil the product in the shade of your choice. Each work using wood burning technology is unique and one-of-a-kind, withstanding the challenges of time and nature.
